Operation Christmas Child
Many thanks to everyone who donated filled shoe boxes for Operation Christmas Child. The total number of collected boxes was an amazing 108. Congratulations to Year 6 who won our inter class competition by collecting an impressive 25 boxes. Well Done! Thank you all for rallying round and helping to support this wonderful cause.
As a Catholic School, St. Francis is an educational community, where Christian religious and moral values are the basis for all its activities.
To provide a curriculum based on Gospel values that is varied, challenging and inspiring and which enables every individual to fulfil their potential to the highest possible standard.
To have a school with a clear sense of purpose and direction - with procedures being constantly subject to monitoring and evaluation to ensure a well-resourced, progressive environment.
To create and maintain a happy, stimulating and productive working environment where the children can become independent and active learners
To strengthen the home, school and parish communities to enable the children to acquire the highest spiritual and moral values.
In a spirit of praise and encouragement
When we develop their independence
When we set high expectations.
To do their best
To be polite with high standards of behaviour
To think of others
The Christmas Productions were amazing presentations, two quite different stories. In KS2 good triumphs over evil and the KS1 and Reception children retold the story of the Nativity. Our children were a pleasure to watch and I warmly thank every parent for bringing their children to each production.
May I take this opportunity to express my sincere thanks to the staff who worked long and hard to ensure the productions were a success.
Thank you for all the kind donations £462.25 for Fr Gerald and his school in Uganda.
